1-5-2018 MOVIE REVIEW: PLANES, TRAINS, AND AUTOMOBILES (1987)
Jan 6, 2019
An advertising executive's flight home to Chicago from New York two days before Thanksgiving is delayed after a winter snowstorm. To make matters even worse, he gets caught up with an annoying shower ring curtain salesman also looking to do whatever is necessary to get home before the holidays. A breakout performance by the late John Candy - add Planes, Trains, and Automobiles to the long list of films directed by John Hughes (National Lampoon's Vacation, Home Alone) families are sure to enjoy.
